Highly qualified and experienced counsellor
Is your relationship causing you stress and unhappiness? Are you finding it difficult to deal with bereavement? Are you trying to handle anxiety, depression or low self-esteem? I am a qualified relationship counsellor with over 20 years of experience in helping people get their lives back on track.
I offer counselling and guidance at my private practice and am also a counsellor for Relate with whom I trained and qualified. I specialise in relationship counselling, couple counselling and personal counselling.
If you are considering counselling, then there will be an area in your life which is not working as you would wish – perhaps this is the first time you have had counselling and you want to find someone you will feel comfortable with and have confidence in. I hope I can offer you these, and the initial session will be an opportunity for us to see if I can help with your situation and whether you wish to continue to build a therapeutic relationship with me.
My practice offers a pleasant, comfortable, safe and confidential environment for counselling, and is just a five minute walk from the local bus and train station. There is parking outside on the road as well as in the local vicinity.

About me
Helping people get their lives back on track is profoundly fulfilling and a profession which I feel privileged to belong to. I have gained much experience over the years I have been practising, not only from my own life experiences – happy and sad, successes and failures, but also from the learning I take from my clients and the therapeutic relationships I make with them.
I am a member of BACP and on the Relate Register of Counsellors. I studied Law at university, practised until I had children and then when they were older, gained counselling qualifications with Relate, a post graduate Certificate in Education and adult training qualifications. During my 20 year counselling career, I have also run various courses for the public and CPDs for counsellors.
